The Ifor Williams GP Plant Trailer range is widely regarded as one of the toughest plant trailer platforms available. Built around an open rectangular steel framework that is integral with the chassis, the GP series is engineered for strength, durability and long-term reliability in demanding environments.
With models ranging from the GP106 through to the GP146, including tri-axle options and a maximum gross weight of 3500kg, the GP range provides serious capability for professional plant operators.
Designed specifically for transporting excavators and other heavy machinery, GP trailers feature a robust resin-coated plywood platform, integrated ramp or skid supports for stable loading, and the option of 16” wheels for enhanced off-road performance, unique within the Ifor Williams plant lineup.
Available in both low-sided and high-sided configurations, the GP range offers flexibility for operators who require either a dedicated plant transporter with rear-set axles or a more versatile trailer capable of handling general duty tasks alongside machinery transport.

Each trailer is fitted with an ID plate which has a unique serial number etched on it. Additionally, the drawbar has a different unique number cut through it, which is virtually impossible to alter without noticeably affecting the appearance of the numbers and galvanized finish.
